We’re excited to announce a powerful new addition to the District Heating Platform: the Heat Map overlay, now live on the Map View. Designed to give better insight into network performance, this tool enables intuitive, data-driven analysis directly on the map interface.

The new Heat Map feature transforms your map into an at-a-glance diagnostic tool. Visualize key metrics like:

• Return temperature
• Heat Energy
• Supply temperature

These visual layers make it easier to spot patterns, detect inefficiencies, and prioritize areas for action.

Customizable Parameters – With Real-Time Visual Feedback

The Heat Map feature is designed to be interactive and highly adaptable to your analysis needs.

• Set radius to define how far each data point influences the surrounding area on the map. A larger radius helps identify broader trends, while a smaller one can highlight localized anomalies.
• Adjust intensity to control how strongly variations in data are visualized. Turn it up to amplify differences between zones, or down for a more subtle gradient overview.
• Apply threshold values to filter out lower-priority data. Focus only on areas exceeding specific limits—ideal for identifying critical hotspots or performance issues.

Best of all, every change you make is reflected instantly on the map. There's no need to reload or wait: tweak a setting and see the result immediately. This real-time responsiveness makes it easy to test different views, compare operating conditions, and explore your network behavior from multiple angles—right from the map interface.
